I couldn’t find a history on this theatre other than being mentioned in a couple history web sites. It was opened prior to 1930 and listed in Film Daily Yearbooks in 1941 and 1943 when it was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc, through their subsidiary M.A. Lightman. There were five theatres in the downtown area of Camden, this being one of them.
The Rialto Theatre was closed August 30, 1961. It was then used by the Camden Community Theatre from 1963 to 1967. It lay empty for a couple of years and was then converted into retail use. This theatre was one of three along North & South Adams Avenue. Size wise the Rialto Theatre was a bit larger than the Malco Theatre and the Ritz Theatre.

The Rialto replaced its sound system in 1930 moving away from discs to Western Electric sound in February of 1930. Its last film screening was August 30, 1961. The Camden Community Theatre used the space from 1963 to 1967. The theatre was vacant until 1969 when the signage was removed and the space altered for retail purposes.
This theater appears on the 1924 Sanborn, but this was an empty lot in 1917. The auditorium was a rather ungainly brick box sloping north toward Van Buren St. Even by the 2008 streetview, it appears derelict, and the building was demolished sometime between 2014 and 2018.
