This was one of the most beloved cinemas in Liege the so called "cité ardente", it shoud be compared to the Victory Cinema in Brussels which had the same kind of programming of westerns, American action and B movies.
The Socety "Crosly" created in the 1930’s opened three cinemas in Brussels and one in Antwerp. It was opened in 1920 under the name Coliseum Cinema and in 1936 became Crosly. In 1949 the Society opened in Liege the Crosly Outremeuse(former Pavillon/Repbulique Cinema).
It closed in October 1976, and was the longest running of the Crosly Cinema’s, the last one in Brussels closed on 1957, and the one in Antwerp in the late-1960’s.

On a visit to Liege in August 2017 I happened to stay in the Ibis hotel overlooking the street where the Crosly was situated. As can be seen from my photograph, a large number of buildings, including No. 14 (the cinema’s address) have been demolished, leaving a large swathe of vacant ground. So, assuming the cinema’s address is correct, the building has been demolished. Perhaps another contributor will be able to absolutely confirm this.
Hello David, I’m a local and I confirm that the Crosly was demolished a long time ago. On the black and white pictures of this site, you see the edge of a modern building to the right of the Crosly. These were the new offices of La Meuse, a local newspaper. For many years, after the demolition of the Crosly, the space was used as an open-air parking lot. Since then, the building of La Meuse has been demolished as well, and the parking lot eliminated, resulting in the wide vacant space shown on your photograph.
