The Orient Kino opened on 25th October 1913 with 700 seats in its single auditorium. As its name suggests, the decorative style, both external and internal was in an Oriental style.
It has since been re-named Cinema ABC and quadrupled. Seating was provided for 376, 166, 200 and 88. The Cinema ABC 1,2,3,4. was closed in 2014 and has been converted into a casino.

The only picture I saw here was Nighthawks…In 1981 this theatre, probably because of its proximity to the Bahnhof, was run down and had lost its luster…the big big releases went to the Corso 1 and/or the Apollo Cinerama
Saw Star Trek here in June 2009…in much better shape now than in my time here in the early 80s…great projection and even a three minute intermission!
