The Crest Theatre opened March 9, 1942 with Cary Grant in “Suspicion”. It closed October 15, 1960. It became a community center and by 2021 was in use as a church.

Can anyone give me info on the Cinemart on Gov Prinz? I can’t find any info anywhere, but, I stop to look at it every time I’m in the area. What a mystery. The only thing I can tell is that I was built in the 60’s due to the chandelier and font on the front sign.
The building still stands! Stripped of it’s grandeur its serves as a meeting hall for the local catholic church.
This opened on March 9th, 1942. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this theatre.
The Crest Theater closed Oct. 15, 1960. Last movie ad in the photo section.
