The 4-screen Centre Point Cinemas was opened 30th June 1989. Seating capacities in the screens are: 386, 135, 158 and 90. The complex also includes a 10-lane bowling alley. It was re-named ESI Cinemas on 4th September 1998 and reverted back to the Centre Point Cinemas name around 9th May 2002. It was closed as a cinema on 31st May 2005. It is now a sports leisure centre and bingo club.

The cinema opened on 30 June 1989. Following a change of ownership, the name changed to ESI Cinemas aka Euro Screen International from 4 September 1998. It reverted to its original name around 9 May 2002. Centrepoint closed for films on 31 May 2005.
