Regal Colonnade 14 is one of a small handful of non-casino based theatres left in Vegas.
Opened in the late 90’s, this suburban multiplex typically plays family fare to complement the more adult and sometimes indie playlist at Green Valley Ranch Cinemas 10 right up the road (which also a Regal outfit).
Undated Grand opening ad posted. opened 1999?
This opened on June 25th, 1999. It was planned as an 18-plex, but Regal had other plans.
Surprisingly closing September 14th (which is today at the time of writing) due to the Cineworld/Regal bankruptcy and them rejecting the leases from underperforming Regals.
The final movies that were shown were: Goodbye, Don Glees! (subtitled), Clerks III, Pitch Perfect (10th anniversary rerelease), Lifemark, Beautiful Blue Eyes, Medieval, Jaws (rerelease, every showtime was in RealD 3D), Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul., Spider-Man: No Way Home (rerelease), The Invitation, Top Gun: Maverick, Emily the Criminal, Bullet Train, DC League of Super-Pets, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Where the Crawdads Sing, and Minions: The Rise of Gru.
First the Regals at both Texas Station and Fiesta Henderson, now this? What a damn shame.
It’s unknown what the property will become. Hopefully, it won’t sit abandoned.
2,927 seats.
