Century opened the sixteen-screen South Coast megaplex on December 22, 2005 at the South Coast (now South Point) casino, the latest of the Coast neighborhood casino properties. This one is at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard S. - way way south. It is the first large casino most people will see driving in from SoCal on I-15. And a very striking golden building it is, even the windows are coated with gold foil. There’s also a 64-lane bowling center on site as well as a large equestrian exhibition center.

‘Las Vegas’ and ‘South Coast’ don’t sound like they go together. What body of water is this on the coast of?
And the property has already changed it’s name to South Point. From what I understand, it’s a stand-alone now… owned by Michael Gaughn.
Listed at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard in the local paper.
Recently saw The Muppets, Ben-Hur, and one other movie here. I guess it wasn’t too memorable.
Two auditoriums – nine and ten – have been remodeled into Cinemark’s XD format.
