- Oct 12, 2009 — Boise Towne Square Reel Theater bites the dust
Located at Boise Towne Square, a 1988 regional mall, this six-plex was opened by Cineplex Odeon on December 16, 1988. They closed it on February 15, 2001. It was reopened by Reel Theatre on July 26, 2002. It closed in 2007, and had been demolished by 2009.

Cineplex Odeon opened 7 cinemas on December 16th, 1988 including The Town Square in Boise, River Oaks 1-6 in Suburban Chicago, Bellis Fair in Bellingham, WA, Station Square, Park and Tilford, and the Coquitlam cinemas in the Vancouver area, and the Edina in Suburban Minneapolis. Grand opening ad already.
