Located in the Brookline district to the south of Pittsburgh. The Braverman Theatre was opened in 1928. It was soon renamed Boulevard Theatre. It was remodeled to the plans of architect Victor A. Rigaumont and reopened on November 10, 1937. It was operated by Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp. It was closed July 10, 1952. It reopened in 1956 under independent management.
In 1996 it became the Cedars Banquet Hall, and by 2012 was occupied by CompuLink.

The theater was known at least briefly as the Braverman.
For decades after the Boulevard closed, the building was used by the Cedar of Lebanon Society, which may still be there. I have the theater’s address as 808 Brookline Boulevard. It probably occupied 808 and 810.

Opened November 10th, 1937
Opened in 1928 as the Braverman Theatre and was dubbed the Boulevard Theatre shortly thereafter for Salasin & Freed. In 1937, architect Victor A. Rigaumont reimagined the theatre for the Warner Bros. Circuit reopening that November.
After refurbishment had a bowling alley in basement. Fire 4 October 1948 but only minor damage. Closed 10 July 1952.
Reopened under independent operation in 1956.
