Around 1915 Dr. Hiram M. Johnson opened the Lois Theatre. In 1927 the name was changed to the Liberty Theatre. The latest information that I could find on the Liberty Theatre is, the building is closed and is being renovated. By September 2013 it had reopened as a banquet hall.

This was part of the Mercy & Sons theater chain in the late sixties.
