1978 Quakertown-3

Located in the Country Square Shopping Center. Opened by Budco as a twin on November 13, 1974. By 1978 it had become a triple-screen theatre. It became the AMC Quakertown 6 until about 1998 when Regal opened Richland Crossing 12. It was renamed USA Grand Slam Cinemas in December 1999 and became a second run theater.

I always assume this theatre was a 5 plex, as the newspaper had it listed. This theatre also was operated by Budco Theatres, who also operated the Doylestown Barn Cinema Theatre (aka AMC Barn 5 Theatre), the Plymouth Cinema Theatre, and the 309 Cinema Theatre (aka AMC 309 Cinema 9 Theatre), to name a few

This opened on November 13th, 1974 Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this theatre.

An article in the December 27, 1999 edition of the Allentown Morning Call reported that the former AMC 6 had been reopened as a discount theater called the USA Grand Slam Cinemas.
