The 304-seat Opera House was opened by 1926. In 1936 it was briefly renamed Odeman Theatre. By 1937 it was operating as the Mid-State Theatre, still with 304-seats. It was still named Mid-State Theatre in 1963.

Listed as the Mid-State Theatre in editions of Film Daily Yearbook from at least 1941 through to 1950.

Listed as the Mid-State in the 1963 IMPA. Owner was N. James Olson, of the Olson Circuit.
