According to the Arenac County Historical Society website, the Dawn Theatre opened October 7, 1948. It was owned by Joe Nagy, who also owned a canoe livery in the same town. It is not known when the Dawn Theatre closed, but it became an auto repairs shop and was demolished in 2013.

Address was 424 N. Saginaw St. The building was Nagy’s Tractor Sales (different guy, same family) until 2004, when it moved. It is now Master Auto Repair.
