Located across Public Square from the Iris Theatre. The Princess Theatre was opened by 1935. It was closed on December 3, 1960

My father was in the army and stationed at Ft McCLellan at the end of WW II. He met my mother in Jacksonville, and when he got out of the army, became the projectionist at the Princess Theater. I vaguely remember being in the projection room when he would be preparing the film reels before a showing.
Boxoffice, Dec. 12, 1960: “The Princess, Jacksonville, Ala., … was shuttered after the last showing Saturday (3)”
The current address of the former Princess Theatre site is 16 Public Square W on the far right hand side. Confirmed using the second photo in the gallery, the buildings next door and Google street view. Mad Hatter Cupcake Shop is on the site today, having 16-18 on their door, one of multiple tenants in the 16 Public Square Building as it is called.
