The Midway Drive-In was opened April 19, 1950 with Betty Hutton in “Red, Hot and Blue”. It was owned by Cine Media and had space for 200 cars. It was closed on October 18, 1981.

Approx. address for this drive-in was 7822 McClellan Boulevard. Now Waldrop Manufacturing. some of the ramps are still in the back of the property.

Also opened with a Popeye cartoon(Robinhood winked), and a novelty short(White magic).
