this place was great. went to a couple ‘planetOfTheApes’ marathons here, as a kid. jamb packed with hundreds of screaming, bawling kids throwing all manner of food at each other. now that, my friends, is entertainment.
In the 1960’s I worked at the Albany Theater. Billy Jenkins was in charge of the Martin Theaters at that time. I can’t remember the date, but the first movie I worked was the Disney movie, “The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin”. Then Mrs. Johnson, who was manager of the State, hired me. My first movie that I worked there was “Double Trouble” that stared Elvis.
The Movie that Mike Rogers was talking about “The Night Daniel Dies” was also known as “The Blood Stalkers”. A horror movie about two tourists in Florida who is attacked by a chilling group of backwoods psychopaths.
thanks chris…
