Overland Park Cinemas

Opened on June 22, 197. A wonderful vintage theatre that has converted to a “dollar” movie theatre (this is due to to the Edwards 21 that opened across the freeway.) Great deal on meal ticket/movie combo. A killer bargain. I attended it back in the early-1980’s where I lived about 8 blocks away. Don’t let the worn out look fool you, this place has a lot of soul in it and the owners are really cool.

..the owners of the Overland 3plex contains experience in discount operations in the Treasure Valley for over 30 yrs and rightfully deserve the credit due to them. They managed to keep the “Magic in the Cinemas” alive since they know how to serve the public and give the public what they want with no hesitiation, condition, or any form of hinderance in their operation. If one really wants to know how to be successful in your own business, chek these people out for they’ve got it down.

We went to this theatre in the late 80s to see Dances with Wolves, when it first came out. The times we have been to this theatre it has always been clean. It may look a little old but it is a cool theatre. Now that I know it is a dollar theatre I may have to make plans to watch a movie there.
