The Ritz Theater, which stood on Foster Street, is listed as operating and seating 600 in the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook. It was opened by Martin Theatres on December 20, 1943 with Tom Neal in “There’s Something About a Soldier”. It was closed on February 18, 1956 with Tex Ritter in “Vengeance of the West” & Raf Vallone in Don Juan’s Night of Love".

I believe I found the site of this theater at 124 N. Foster. Status should be changed to demolished. There’s a vacant lot and a small park.

Martin and Davis Circuit launched the Ritz Theatre on December 20, 1943 in Dothan with “There’s Something About a Soldier.”

Closed On February 18, 1956 With “Vengeance Of The West” And Don Juan’s “Night Of Love” As Its Last Films. The Theater Was Then Used For Commercial Usages And Special Unities Such As Meetings.
