The Vaska Theatre opened on March 4, 1948 with Rita Hayworth in “Down to Earth”. It has one screen and shows first-run films. It was closed on January 12, 2019. It reopened in February 2019. In 2022 a second screen was added.

This is a June 1975 ad from the Lawton Constitution. I thought it was appropriate since we had a pretty good one in LA tonight.

In 2022, the Vaska added a second screen called the Aux while the original auditorium is the Main.
