The Palace Theatre opened in 1924 as an independent theatre owned and operated by the DiBellos. It has been operated by the same family since its inception.
It is currently under renovation but still in operation. It hosts the Syracuse Internationl Film and Video Festival.
The Palace features a 250 seat balcony and 900 seat main floor. The balcony after being closed for some 30 years has been reopened after the remodel.
Any further information on the Palace Theatre would be greatly appreciated.

My family went to the Palace Theater many times back in the 1950’s.
One of the great neighborhood cinemas that I believe is still operating.
