Wonderful news! I’d love to get a look at the old place again. I enjoyed seeing movies there and once I Saw Pearl Bailey in a memorable stage show in the late 50’s.
We should be able to alert them to anything going wrong in the audutorium whether it’s people or projection or air-conditioning related, without have to get up and search for an elusive employee (and risk losing your seat if you’re alone.) Such a system would be wonderful, but of course some people will abuse it to the point of rendering it useless.

Great news! I hope he can help. Passed by it on a recent visit to Flint and the exterior still looks very good.
Thanks for the highly enjoyable trip down memory lane. Good job.

Good to know. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting this. Always glad to hear some good news from Flint.
Oh, now I see the Charles was on Avenue B.
Was it the Charles?
That photo reminds me of Le Ranelagh in Paris. Is there any relationship?

Thanks for the list.

Wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing them.
I believe the first “art” film shown at the Garden was “Bitter Rice” about 1950-51, and prior to that it had shown mainstream second run films.
Here’s hoping they get it!
Thanks so much. Looking at those pictures, for a moment I could believe…
