Does anyone know the exact address of the Liberty Theatre? It was a couple of buildings west of East 105th Street on the north side of Superior. Also, wasn’t there a Clark’s Restaurant accross the street? There was a Clark’s accross from the Keith’s 105th, but I’m pretty sure there was one accross from the Liberty as well.

The correct address of the Loew’s Stillman was 1111 Euclid Avenue which is now the parking garage for the Statler Arms Apartments. They are located at 1127 Euclid Avenue.

The current occupant of the old Superior Theatre building is the “True Missionary Baptist Church”.

The correct address for the Ezella is 7007 Superior Avenue. Currently the building is occupied by “The Original Glorious Church of God in Christ Apostolic Faith Inc.” I’m not sure the marquee can fit all that!

I have a list of theatres showing the Avalon’s address as 4134 East 105th Street. Which address is correct?

Does anyone have any information about the Oakdale Theatre in Hazel Park? It was a neighborhood theatre with a balcony. It has, I believe, been demolished. I have a friend who attended this theatre as a boy. He’s going blind and would love to see a photo of it before he does.

I grew up in this “seedy” neighborhood from 1948 to 1970. Actually, I thought it was a great place to live. I spent many a Saturday afternoon in the Ezella. I never realized it had an organ. It must have been long gone by the time I started attending movies there. Another theatre I visited quite often was the Norwood which was on St. Clair Ave. a couple of doors East of Norwood Road. Next to this theatre was the “Norwood Sweet Shop” with an old fashioned soda fountain. Sadly the theatre was demolished in the mid 60’s I believe. The “Sweet Shop” building still stands but I believe it’s closed. Does anyone have further information about the Norwood Theatre? Also, is there definitive list of all Cleveland area theatres past and present?

The address listed above is wrong. It can’t be 1260 Euclid Ave. if the State Theatre is 1519 Euclid and the Palace is 1615 Euclid and all three are on the same side of the street. It therefore has to be an uneven number. Does anyone know?

I have a 1927 photo showing the Monarch Theatre directly accross the street from the Alhambra on the South side of Euclid Ave. This is not the Circle Theatre which was also on the South side but directly accross from the Park Theatre. The Park was at 10209, the Circle at 10210, the Alhambra at 10403, and the Monarch must have been around 10402. The sign reads “Lewis Amusement Co. MONARCH Theatre. Does anyone have any information about this theatre?

What are the exact addresses of the Circle, Park, and Alhambra theatres? I have the Keith’s 105th as 10502, the University as 10606, and the Park as either 10209 or 10409. Also, does anyone know the name of a little theatre on Superior at about East 84th? I believe it was closed around the early 50’s.
