Yeah, but I doubt it. AMC is snooty enough, I don’t think they’d keep something like that. I tried to find a website that had it, but failed :–(
I miss GC like a thorn in my side. The local GC, which I have such fond memories of, still sits empty and abandoned today. They’re gonna turn it into a fitness center, which pisses me off beyond comprehension.
So GCC is 100% gone now? No chance of ever coming back? I found on Yahoo a page that said generalcinemas.com is under construction, and I didn’t know if that meant they were making a comeback or not.
that doesn’t sound good. I saw SM2 at the Raleigh Grande cinema, and the sound system began to give out towards the end, but luckily got through it okay.
Don’t you hate when theaters are abandoned and forgotten just because they aren’t megaplexes? I’m gonna miss the old, nice, smaller theaters. They won’t be around much longer.
It was built in 1987, closed in 2001. It still has all of it’s original GCC building style, and for a while, EFW theaters wanted to buy it, but for some reason never got around to it.

well how would adding a screen help at all? The megaplex I’m sure would put it out of business.
Remember that candy band feature presentation thing they showed before each movie at GCC? Is there a website where you can download it?

Is this theater owned by AMC now? And a question i need to know that no one will tell me- does GCC even exist anymore?

Damn AMC, those money grubbing bastards. I wish they’d left GCC alone.

So does this mean GCC doesn’t exist anymore? I’d like to know.
What? There was a fountain? Cool. BTW, I’ve asked this before, but I have to know- does GCC exist anymore? Are there any General Cinema theaters left?
But now, the colony is another 2 screen theater in Raleigh.
So, does General Cinema even exist anymore? Is the chain now non existent? If not, where are their remaining theaters?
