I don’t believe any “addition was built”. I’m pretty sure they repurposed the adjoining retail space on the left (south) side of the theatre.
Note that the Franks didn’t own any of the three “Drexel” theatre buildings (East, North, Grandview). They were all leased.
Up close, it’s a bit small and chintzy looking. But at least it’s a sign.
Name is misspelled in this listing. They changed Theatre to Theater. Not sure why, since it was Theatre for 90 years.
There’s a $1.2m project planned to re-open this. They just received a $300,000 grant.
