I don’t know what the official address of this theater is, but the google map link is incorrect. That section of highway changed from US259 to SH31 more than 20 years ago, but is also called W. South St. The theater is next door to Gorman-McCracken Volkswagen. The closest address that I can get to it on google maps is 720 West South St.
The concession stand/projector room for the Twin Pines was the site of a gay/lesbian club called The Rainbow Club in the mid/late 80’s. It was burned by an arsonist sometime in the late 80’s.
The theater opened in 1978 when the mall opened, as was called Martin Twin Cinema. The name changed to Mall Twin Cinema when sold to Carmike. The closing date of 1996 sounds about right. The old theater is now the location of a Christian teen club called Oneighty, http://www.oneighty.tv/
Nelson Street is in a predominately black area of town, and has been for many, many years. Most likely, the Gregg Theater was a black theater and showed black films.
The Cargill Theater became Movies 9 sometime back in the 90’s, and became a dollar cinema a few years later. It is still operating as a dollar cinema at SH31 and Jaycee Drive in Longview.

204 E. Cotton St. is now the site of First Baptist Church of Longview at the SE corner of Cotton and Fredonia.
In the last years of it’s operation, Northloop Six operated as a dollar theater.
