I spent a holiday in Chatham a few years ago and visited a retail store in the main street. The lady serving at the checkout told me that the building was previously a cinema…can you verify this?
There was another cinema in Great Dunmow. It was The Kinema in the High Street and was part of the Bostock Circuit. The building is now retail premises.

Ken, I see no mention of the Regent cinema in Station Square, Paignton. I can’t seem to find the facility here to add a cinema? Bob
That’s a great idea for this site as I’ve just watched a BBC2 programme called The Blitz in which this cinema was mentioned.

There seems to be no mention of the Empire cinema in Bedford? It was also controlled by Granada.
