Picturedrome

Located on Duck Mill Walk, beside the River Ouse. The Picturedrome was opened on 2nd May 1910. It was designed by local architect A.E. Anthony, and was operated by the Blake family.

The Picturedrome was closed in 1964, and has since been demolished.

The Picturedrome Bedford was in 1949 the birth place of Bedford Film Society, still going strong today and meets in The Trinity Theatre, Bromham Rd. Bedford during the winter months. Info; 07768608455
