It was a fantastic show tonight with BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Bernie Anderson’s superb accompaniment on the Wonder Morton fit the movie perfectly. Subtle musical touches with dramatic pauses at key moments really added to the effectiveness of his score. It was nice to see the audience respond with a standing ovation and I’ve never heard the organ sounding better. Bravo to Bob Martin and his crew for restoring and maintaining this magnificent instrument.

The volunteers were very cordial and did a great job with handling the large crowd.

Major kudos to the projection team for a flawless 35mm presentation. The framing, focus, changeovers and curtain cues were done perfectly. An excellent job.

If you haven’t been to the Loew’s Jersey, make it a point to attend their classic 35mm film presentations. You won’t be disappointed!
