It is unfortunate that this story is playing out in the glare of the news media; based on what I have read, my guess is that the legal advisors to the Fox management have become concerned about liability issues that quite possibly could arise if theater staff are expected to provide medical and other supportive assistance to Mr. Patten as a result of his advancing age over and above anything specified in the original lease agreement. In this age of “sue thy neighbor,” I can understand why a need arose to clarify some points that no doubt were not considered when Mr. Patten was given the use of the lodgings (which I am sure were not designed within ADA guidelines). I just think that a solution could have been found without painting the Fox management as villains and Mr. Patten as a beleaguered, unappreciated victim.
There was a fire on November 2, 2010 at a Northgate Cinema 10 at the West Club Boulevard Mall, resulting in a temporary closing: View link Does anyone know if this Northgate Cinema 10 is an expansion/renovation of the Northgate Twin or is it a new theater that should have its own listing?
There are several pictures on the theater’s official website: []http://www.majestic-cinema.co.uk/gallery/cinema+frontage]](http://www.majestic-cinema.co.uk/gallery/cinema+frontage)

It is open (apparently only the upstairs theater was temporarily closed) but struggling financially; the owner is planning to offer shares of stock. If this effort fails, the theater will probably close. Story here: http://www.seattlepi.com/ae/429271_theater29.html
