Please update, Regal Union Square 17 OPEN AND RENOVATING
The theatre is expanding to 17 screens. Cinema 4 and Cinema 8 balconies will be separate auditoriums. I don’t like the idea Regal is destroying Cinema 4 and 8 into seperate screens.
The theatre is getting new seats, no recliners. They are installing Klipsch surround speakers.
Curently, theatres 1 to 7 is still open and they recently open theatres 10, 12, 14, 15 and 16 on the second floor. The second floor looks similar to the recently open Regal Essex theatre. The only refreshment stand that open is on the main level. Look in the photos section of the new screens.
Just asking, maybe Netflix might of installed a projector. I do prefer, but will see film sometimes because the producers went of their way to make a film release.
Do you know if their a website for the Paris Theatre.
Please update the history:
Please correct, in the summer of 1977 United Artists made it a quad(2 downstaris and 2 upstairs split down the middle), on November 20, 1998 it became 9 screens (4 downstairs and 5 upstairs).
This was 4 screens from 1977 to 1996, like the other UA complexe like the Quad, Lynbrook and Marboro.

What a shame AMC won’t show Netflix Movies. A Marriage Story has a quick scene leaving the 19th Street theatre before they renovated the lobby.
It appears about 15 minutes into the film.
Why would AMC allow them to film and not show their product
