The cinema was then called Paradise Cinema when it was seen in The Professionals episode First night(first transmitted in the UK on 21/10/1978). The movie posters shown all appeared to be from India?
The hotel was called Waverley Hotel. The hotel was on the corner of Cecil Avenue and Albany Highway. The hotel has demolished(2000’s?) for the widing of Albany Highway. The rest of that site is now a Mcdonalds restaurant.
The cinema is proposed to be demolished and apartments built in it’s place. There is a plan to hopefully save the cinema and turn it into a musuem about The Bee Gees.
