Billboard reported on September 4, 1954: “The Blue Moon, Foam Lake, Sask. is the province’s 36th drive-in. It has accommodation for 312 cars. Blue Moon Theater Company, Ltd., headed by Theo Hakyk and S. K. A. Kays, is an. affiliate of Paragon Theater Company, Ltd., Winnipeg, Man.”
The Blue Moon Drive-In, capacity 200, owner Stardust Theatres, Ltd., was first listed in the 1956 edition of the Motion Picture Almanac. In 1957, the owner changed to H. C. Vassos, and that’s how it stayed through the final MPA Canadian drive-in list in 1976.
