Did anyone order and receive their copy of the the ‘magnificent’ book “The Incredible History of the Acedemy Theater” by mrjlthomas?
I pre-ordered mine way-back in May 2007 and have not heard from or recieved anything. I payed $40.00 via PayPal which was processed in July 2007. I recently sent an e-mail to the e-mail address posted above by mrjlthomas on May 28, 2007 and it bounced back!
ken mc; I really don’t know. When I first saw that photograph I thought ‘a closed down cinema’, only to do more research and find its still operating. I am visiting Barcelona next week to check out the cinemas and theatres, so should be able to report back and amend any errors in the Barcelona cinema/theatres list.
A close-up photograph of the Teatro Arnau’s facade. Taken in May 2005, the torn poster of the last production at the theatre is still on the advertising frame: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eviltwin/14755681/
The Vista Theater is one short block to walk along Sunset Boulevard, from the Vermont/Sunset station on the Metro Red Line.
Guys:
24 postings in the past two days, and they have nothing to do with the AMC Empire 25. So Please Stop Now!
If anyone can find proof of film use for the Gallo/Studio 54, then Cinema Treasures will welcome it being added to the site.
