I like the website, even though it hasn’t been updated in a couple of months. Where exactly is the beach in this part of North Dakota?

The Royal was one of a list of segregated Philadelphia theaters in the 1947 IMPA, along with the Booker, Dixie, Colonial, Douglas, Globe, Joy, New Garden, New Jewel, Pearl, Rex, Ruby, Standard, Strand and Upsal.
It was still segregated in 1947, according to the IMPA of that year.
This block has been completely redeveloped. The theater has been razed.
The Roxy in Wichita was listed as a foreign language theater in the 1947 IMPA, but the exact language is not specified.
This theater was one of a number of “Negro Theaters” listed in the 1947 IMPA.
