En Français:

  • 17 septembre 1981 a ouvert comme Cineplex, le premier cinéma Cineplex au Québec

  • 1984, il devient une partie de Cineplex Odeon

  • 16 octobre 1987 rénové et rouvert en tant que Centre Ville et a commencé à montrer des films français dans certains cinémas. Il a servi comme une maison “moveover” pour le centre-ville odéons Cineplex.

  • 31 janvier 2000 fermé lorsque tout le monde est allé à la Paramount au lieu du mini-écran ici.

  • 2001 éventré pour London Life salles de courrier et de la liberté 55 centre de conférence.

This opened on May 7th, 1996. It is owned by Didler Farre and is booked by Cineplex. The website that was submitted is not the offical website for this cinema. This cinema was built by the construction arm of Cinemas Guzzo. It had shown mostly English movies until 1999 when the StarCité opened up.

Same thing in Montreal, they found time to install an UltraAVX system, but forgot to change the sign outside.

  • 1980 opened with 4 cinemas and taken over by Cineplex Odeon in the 1980’s.

  • 1990 closed and used as a school for projectionists and reopened a few years later as Dollar Cinemas.

  • Mid 1990’s Golden Theatres of Seattle,WA takes it over but it closed by 1999

  • 1999-2000 owned by Encore Cinemas

  • 2001-2007 reopened under new management

  • 2007 closed

  • 2008 reopened as Ciné Starz. It is the first Toronto-area chain to be owned by an Quebec-based circuit.
