Went to see a movie here yesterday. Stadium seating in all auditoriums, excellent sound and sightlines. A small arcade area is off the lobby, which is quite spacious. Pictures are in the photo section.
The date 1936 on the building appears to be when it was opened. According to local historians, it was originally called the Lyric. For a time after it closed, it was used by the Lynchburg fire department, then later remodeled by its owner to its present appearance. The address appears to be 133 S Main.
