I would be shocked if this was ever operated by AMC Theatres. Was always operated by regional independents as far as I’m aware. Would be interested in seeing what makes you think it was an AMC.
A photo on page 4 of the 3/22/1981 edition of the Zanesville Times Recorder shows a picture of the cinema located inside the mall, leading me to think that the Cinema 10 was a new-build.
My understanding is that the theater was in the NE corner of that particular strip. Where the map shows “Cue D’s” and the street view shows “KTV Restaurant”
In regard to inflightmagazines comment from 2021… I think all Edwards locations skipped theater 13, which means if they opened as a “21” it was always just 20. I could be wrong.
According to an article in the 3/18/1981 Tri-City Herald, this theater was to be operated by Theatre Development Corporation out of San Mateo, CA. The article includes an aerial photo showing the outline of the theater building in the center of the Columbia Center North’s parking lot.
An article from the 8/2/1981 edition of the paper explained that TDC sold the theater to SRO two weeks after the theater opened.
Technically speaking, this theater is branded Century and is in all ads I’ve seen as the Century Southland, but I never know how you want to track all that here.
The ad appearing for the Los Altos Twin on 10/10/1985 in the Albuquerque Tribune indicated the theater was closed. The previous day showed listings for “Prizzi’s Honor” and “The Emerald Forest” - both starting at 9:30pm.

I’m going out on a limb to say that if UA had the grand opening of this theater, then Commonwealth never operated it.
Last showtimes appear to have been on 10/9/2022.
Closed after business on 11/10/2022.
This is now operated by VIP Cinemas.

This location never had an IMAX or RPX screen, that was most likely being confused with the Regal-built Hacienda Crossings 20 in nearby Dublin, CA

SRO operated this theater in the early 1980’s as a successful Spanish language theater.

This theater was in operation as United California Theaters prior to 1970, suggesting that it opened as a UA theater on 5/29/1970 as indicated above.
The Parkway was an entirely different Drive-In on the north end of Petaluma. The address for the Parkway was 280 Stony Point Rd.
