Opened on March 6, 1987 by United Artists as the Cinemas Stratford 6. It was taken over by Hoyts in 1995 and closed in 1998. By 2025 it was occupied by a Fright Haven attraction.
In 2001 a 14-screen theatre was built close-by and was operated by Entertainment Cinemas (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

This theater is now closed. Regal continued to operate it despite diminishing attendance due to better theaters a short distance away in both Trumbull and Milford, but the landlord finally gave them the boot. The theater was a total dive anyways, they never made any significant investment beyond upgrading to digital, and it was within walking distance of some not nice neighborhoods in Bridgeport which gave it a poor reputation locally.

This theater was a dive. I think every other movie I saw there had problems with the projection or sound or something. I avoided it like the plague.
The Stratford Stadium 14 was a separate theater than the UA/Hoyts Stratford Cinemas. The 14-screen theater was a converted Pathmark supermarket which was converted by Entertainment Cinemas and opened on June 14, 2001 (ad in the Bridgeport Connecticut Post).
The theatre is not demolished, it is currently shown on Google Maps as “Fright Haven” at the west side of the parking lot.
Opened on March 6, 1987.
