Bob,my info came from 1956 Motion Picture Almanac so it probably changed hands through the years.

SiliconSam. That is it I have a picture of it in my Drive-in photo Album.I don’t think CT would print it because of the word spelt.I should have taken the time to remove it,It wasn’t a very dirty word.but refered to Gays. F—s.

You would have to go and dig around in the various places in town.There might even be a book on old Buildings in Nashville at the local bookstore.I know Augusta has several regional books that shows a lot of the old city and that includes the long lost movie theatres here.Give Borders a try I know a city the size of Nashville has such a book. Take it easy.mike.

It parked 450 cars and was owned by Crescent Amusement Co. They owned a couple of Drive-ins in the Music City.

If that is the case then i could add the Tate Center at UGA in Athens,but I don’t consider it a movie theatre even though they show movies DVD i am sure.Can’t add the Tate Center.

Well,Kirk, In 1956 it was a new thing for the town of Milo. It parked 450 cars making not the largest Drive-in in Maine,but in the top ten. It was owned still by Mrs.E. Mills.

Mike, here is a bit more info for you. In 1956 it parked 400 cars and was owned by Fred Munson. There was an Ark – View Drive-in also in that town in Kansas.

Great ad Nick.I missed all the Exorcist first run crowds.Wasn’t in the business then even though Bill swears i was working. First and only big flick i worked was “JAWS” Going to watch Clint now,It is his birthday.
