The Temple Drive-in can’t be overlooked so here are a few facts. It parked 300 cars,so it must have been enlarged if the above post is true.It was owned by Allied.

Was this Drive-in called BRITANNIA HEIGHTS Drive-in in the late 50’s. That drive-in parked 500 cars and was owned by Twinex which ran quite a few screens in Ontario.

I just think we found spots around the side of the theatre.A few times i used parking metters but it was about a dime for two hours,so it wasn’t going to break a theatre employee.

I have finally cut six hours of theatre party videos from stories on the Imperial,National Hills & Columbia 1 and 2 into about 95 minutes of pure theatre history with a lot of funny stories from of Theatre reunions in the mid 80’s.I had never thought about parking until you guys mentioned it.

No, we had no agreements. However, there was a small place that the managers could usually park. The Fire department gave us a break.Alot of the employees at the Imperial,as well I bet in St.Louis and Nashville used the city bus.Otherwise you took a quick break and fed the parking metters.
