This theatre is closed.
I recall this being open in the early 80’s but never visited. Had relatives in the area and wold catch a movie in Athens maybe once a year but always at the Martin Plaza Twin.
The theatre building was converted to Genesis Baptist Church in June 2014. I have posed a description of the conversion in the photo section. The correct address is 111 Elizabeth St, Athens, TN 37303.
