This was originally the Tara Theatre. It opened sometime between 1940 and 1950. The actual address is 118 North Main St, Sylvester, GA and was operated by one Robert J Farbar. The building, with a seating capacity of 500 remains and is a combination of retail and office space.

Might want to consider changing the status from closed to open event though it’s now a music hall it still retains all of the features which identify it as a theatre.
By chance was this also known as the Kingsley 1 & 2? If so, the complete address is/was 2285 Kingsley Ave, Bldg 52, Orange Park. Hard to believe that this theatre was only in operation for less than 10 years.

Since the seating capacity went from 401 to 640 one can assume that the third screen was a new construction rather than another alteration to the original auditorium. Who was the original operator of the Parkwood? It has the trademarks of a Martin theatre.

Can the SIFF use the 3 projectors format or does that infringe on the Cinerama trademark? Can they show Cinerama at all? I loved seeing films like Lawrence of Aradia, 2001 and other classics made for the giant curved screen there.

An exceptional cinema in respect to the staffing, cleanliness and quality of each auditorium.
Were any of the four auditoriums equipped with 70 mm projection? I recall the screens were quite large in each.
Sala Rivoli Aficine opened on April 27,2005 and accommodates around 450.
The 1973 Rome City Directory list the address as 200 E First Ave, Rome, GA. It appears that the building has been demolished.
As of May 2025, the structure now harbors a bookstore. Just about all of the vestiges of its day as a cinema remain somewhat intact.

I don’t think the design of the Toco Hills was that much different than the Miracle.
It appears that the Majestic and Adel are one and the same as both have the same seating capacity.

Were the 4 auditoriums added in 1989 built from the ground up or just modifications made to the existing screens?
