The Cinema 1 & 2 is one out of three twin-screen theaters to operate in Live Oak, FL, with the others being the Family Twin Drive-In and the Alimar Twin Cinema. The Cinema 1 & 2 was a replacement (at a different address) to the Alimar Twin Cinema which was destroyed by fire in 1979 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). Opening and closing dates are not known.

Its 205 W Howard St. The building has been converted into offices.
This was the replacement of the Alimar Theatre (lastly known as the Alimar Twin Cinemas) which was destroyed by an arson-related fire on May 3, 1979.
Was Cinema 1 & 2 located in the Live Oak Shopping Plaza in the late 70s/early 80s?
There is a 1978 photo that shows the entirety of the Live Oak Shopping Plaza including Winn-Dixie and Sears as its main stores, but unfortunately no theater.
