The 1936 photo above was also in a book of Jacksonville photos, with the following caption:

This theater on West Commerce Street in Jacksonville was the B-movie facility and superseded the Claire Theater a block east on the same street. The Rialto was operated to show second-run movies, which had been presented earlier in the Palace Theater, the chain’s lead theater in Jacksonville. The Rialto closed around 1960.
