In those 2 episodes of Dad’s Army(“The Big Parade”(1970), and “A Soldier’s Farewell”(1972), this cinema building is called the Empire Cinema.

The service station is called Toodyay Auto Centre(and Toodyay Towing Service). Toodyay Auto Centre has closed down. The building is now Art in the gallery(an art gallery?).

The 2 storey brick in the right is Nicholas Bushalla’s old house.

The site is now a discount store(The Reject Shop). Nicholas Bushalla’s 2 storey house survives to the right of the Reject Shop. The ground floor of the old house is a immigration and migration service(MW Migration Service) and a women’s clothing store(Saniti Clothing).

The site after fire was rebuilt as the building for the Collie Mail newspaper and printing office(mid/late 1920’s to 1980’s when Collie Mail moved out to a new location on Steere Street). Building demolished (date unknown?). The site is currently vacant.

Opened on 24th December 1990, a d closed close to Christmas in 1971. Demolished(1970’s or 1980’s?) The site is now Phoenix Park(opened in 1990).

I think the ticket booth(and offices?) are still there too on the right inside the entrance doorway? Maybe the old toilets still survive too inside that facade/bio box building as well.
