LOS ANGELES, CA — Celebrating 60 years of 3-D, the World 3-D Movie Expo is coming back to the Egyptian Theatre in September with its best lineup yet. John Wayne’s “Hondo”, classics like “Kiss Me Kate” and cult favorites like “Jaws 3-D” highlight the thorough program along with long-lost international oddities.

Tickets are available at the official website now!

35mm polaroid duel projection or Digital ?

PeterApruzzese on August 25, 2013 at 5:58 am

Both, though most of the vintage features are presented dual 35mm polarized.

Thanks Peter any similar plans for Lafayette?

PeterApruzzese on August 26, 2013 at 5:07 am

No, the ownership has changed hands so I’m no longer involved with their programming or projection. They are most likely 100% digital from now on for everything.

Sorry to hear that Peter I know how dedicated you were to that operation. Digital has changed everything it is the main reason I am no longer involved with the St George on Staten Island all Digital projection now and I want no part of that

PeterApruzzese on August 27, 2013 at 11:58 am

Yes, it has.

But back to the main point – the World 3-D Expo should be fantastic. Wish I could go this time.

It’s absolutely killing me not to go. I wish everyone a superb Expo.
