New operators sought out for Chicago movie palaces

CHICAGO, IL — Eddie Carranza, owner of the Portage and the Congress Theaters is looking for new operators following the abrupt closure two months ago. He’s looking to use the Congress for live music and the Portage for a mix of film and live entertainment. He’s also looking for tenants for the storefronts as well.
