City Council OK’s movie theater in Iowa City ped mall

IOWA CITY, IA — FilmScene, a local nonprofit, is building a 50-75 cinema as a temporary cinema to help fill downtown’s void. The long-term goal is to build a 200-seat theatre that operates seven days a week.
