Traverse City MI Film Festival tops $500,000 goal

TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN — The Traverse City Film Festival, which owns the State Theatre, has topped its $500,000 goal according to the festival’s founder Michael Moore. The money was needed to balance its budget and to make improvements and repairs to the theater which dates back to 1916.
