City’s movie theater heydey long gone

MIDDLETOWN, CT — With the Capitol Theatre looking to be demolished, the Hartford Courant looks at the history of cinemas in Middletown. Like so many towns across the country, there was a once vibrant Main Street that’s all but withered away.
